- Who we are & what this covers
- Natamoto is operated by Natamoto LLC, a Maryland company. This is our single, overarching Privacy Policy. It applies to natamoto.com and to every website and mobile application we operate — including the Natamoto marketplace app and the Natamoto provider portal — which we refer to together as the "Services." Other Natamoto-branded sites reference this same policy.
- Our privacy principle
- We collect as little as possible, and we are built for anonymity by design. You can list a motorcycle for sale without giving us your name, phone number, or email address. Where we can avoid holding personal information, we do.
- Information you provide

- Waitlist / marketing: if you join a waitlist, your email address.
- Account: when you sign in (for example, with Sign in with Apple), we receive an account identifier and, only if you choose to share it, your name. We generate a display name so you can stay anonymous to other users.
- Sellers: motorcycle details, condition, price, an approximate location (such as a ZIP code or region), and photos; the confirmations you make when you list (your attestations of intent to sell, of ownership or the right to sell, whether you hold the title, and your agreement to these policies); and your choice about whether to show your name in messages instead of appearing as "Private Seller." We do not require your name, phone, or email. On our websites, you access your submission with a Reference ID and a PIN you set; the PIN is hashed and cannot be recovered by us.
- Buyers: the offers you place, the messages you send, and any contact details you choose to share.
- Providers (dealers & mechanics): business name, business contact information, service regions, and subscription details.
- Information collected automatically

To run the Services and protect them from abuse, we automatically collect:
- Technical & usage data: device type, operating system, app version, screen dimensions, language, time zone, referring page, and your interactions within the Services.
- Fraud-prevention signals: IP address, approximate location derived from that IP address, and a device fingerprint — used to detect fraud, abuse, and automated activity.
- Notifications: if you turn notifications on, the information needed to deliver them to your device, so we can send you things like new offers, replies, and reminders to follow up with buyers. You can turn notifications off any time in your device settings.
- Your location — the “near me” feature
- You can optionally set your location to sort listings by distance (“near me”). Today you set it by entering a ZIP code in the app; a future version may offer to use your device’s location with your permission. Your location is stored only on your device — we do not upload it to, or store it on, our servers, and we never share it with sellers or other users. To turn your ZIP code into approximate map coordinates, the app sends that ZIP code to OpenStreetMap’s Nominatim geocoding service, a third party; we do not send them your name or any account identifier. Distances shown are approximate. You can change or clear your location at any time in the app.
- Payments
- Payments — such as the offer fee or a provider subscription — are processed by our payment processor, Stripe. Stripe handles your card or bank details directly. We never receive or store full payment card numbers.
- Messages, content & moderation
- Messages, offers, listings, photos, and other content are stored on our systems. Natamoto can access, review, and remove content and communications — through automated systems and, where necessary, our staff — to enforce our Terms, prevent illicit, harmful, or abusive content, protect our users, resolve disputes, and comply with the law. This is our platform, and we reserve the right to moderate content, remove it, and suspend accounts. We do not sell your content or use it for third-party advertising.
- How we use information
- We use information to operate and improve the Services; to match listings with interested buyers, dealers, and mechanics; to process payments; to prevent fraud and abuse; to maintain safety and moderate content; to communicate with you (for example, notifications and service updates); and to comply with our legal obligations. We do not use your information for third-party advertising.
- How we protect it
- Account and listing data is encrypted at rest, and access is restricted so that one user cannot read another user's private data. Natamoto itself can access data where needed to operate, secure, and moderate the Services, as described above. No system is perfectly secure, but minimizing what we collect is our first line of protection.
- Anonymity & your identity
- Sellers remain anonymous by default. We do not share a seller's identity or contact information with dealers, mechanics, or buyers. Contact happens on your terms — you decide if and when to share your details. Curated leads we send to dealers and mechanics never include seller contact information.
- How we share information

We share information only:
- with service providers who help us operate the Services (such as Stripe for payments and our cloud hosting provider), under confidentiality obligations;
- as curated leads to dealers and mechanics — without seller contact information;
- We do not share contact details between buyers and sellers. Communication happens through Natamoto, and you may choose to share your own contact information with another user within a conversation; that disclosure is yours, not ours;
- publicly on a Best Offer listing: the current leading offer amount (not your identity or your maximum), and after the listing closes a final price, may be displayed;
- to comply with law, enforce our Terms, or protect the rights, safety, and property of our users and the public; and
- in connection with a business transfer, such as a merger or acquisition.
We do not sell or rent your personal information.
- Cookies & tracking
- We do not use advertising cookies, third-party ad pixels, or cross-site retargeting tags. We use only what is necessary to operate the Services and to prevent fraud.
- Data retention
- We keep information for as long as needed to provide the Services and to meet legitimate business or legal requirements, after which we delete or anonymize it.
- Your choices & rights
- Depending on where you live (for example, under the GDPR or under California's CCPA/CPRA), you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or port your information, and to opt out of certain processing. Because sellers can use the marketplace without providing personal information, we often hold little or no personal data about you. To exercise a right or ask a question, email privacy@natamoto.com. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link.
- Children
- The Services are not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
- Changes to this policy
- We will update the "last updated" date at the top of this page when we revise this policy, and we will note material changes clearly.
